If arriving into Tokyo Narita after 5pm, you will need to hustle to get all the way through to Madarao. The last bus leaves Iiyama station at 7:15pm.

Purchase tickets for the Keisei Skyliner a train leaves approx every 20 minutes you need to purchase an IC basic fare + the express fare to Ueno station.
Exit the train at Ueno station. You will need to purchase tickets to Iiyama station on the JR Hokuriku Shinkansen Bullet Train then head to platform 19 your train is the Hukutaka
Exit train at Iiyama station follow the exit signs to the front door here you will find digital screens that display the bus timetable and the Madarao Bus stop is directly to the right tickets can be purchased on board the bus.
